Who Owns Home Buddies Bellevue?
Locally owned and operated, Home Buddies Bellevue is the Eastside’s premier dog walking & pet sitting company. But don’t be fooled by our name – we don’t just care for pets in Bellevue. We provide dog walking and pet sitting services all up and down the Eastside. As far north as Kirkland, Redmond and Woodinville, east to Sammamish and the Issaquah Highlands and as far south as Newcastle. Plus – we’ll be coming soon to Renton! Let me introduce us – Jay and Gina Cornwall! Jay grew up on the Eastside and I (Gina) grew up in Ballard. We met in 2005, fell in love in 2006, married in 2007 and we now live in the Lakemont area of Bellevue with our beautiful (and hilarious!) daughter Samantha and adopted dog Boomer.
We have dedicated ourselves to providing the most premier in-home pet care services on the Eastside. Over the last few years we have built a team of amazing, dedicated sitters – each of whom have a true love and passion for animals – just like us!
Why Did We Start Home Buddies?
Jay was introduced to Camp Bow Wow when he lived in Colorado years ago. He would often take his dog Payton to camp for play time and board him there when taking trips. Camp Bow Wows are the most premier day camp and dog boarding facilities in the nation and they made such an impression on Jay, that once he moved back to Seattle, it was his dream to open a Camp Bow Wow here (the first of it’s kind in Washington state). Five years later, Jay and Gina decided in 2010 to make that dream a reality and began their research into buying a franchise. While looking carefully into the idea of opening a camp, they discovered Home Buddies by Camp Bow Wow. Everything began to click. What a brilliant idea! Now not only will we be able to provide premier care for dogs, but all other types of animals too – and from the comfort of their own homes.
